Shamir Blue Zero™

In a world that increasingly surrounds us in artificial light, it is a given that our eyes need protection from the damaging effects of HEV (high-energy-visible), or what is commonly known as blue light. Now, every lens you order can have built-in protection with proven effectiveness, in a clear lens offering today’s best protection of visual health.

Based on a unique polymer formula, Shamir Blue Zero™ absorbs HEV, or blue light, while maintaining lens clarity (may appear to have a slight yellowish tint). Shamir Blue Zero™ is today’s best way to protect your visual and even general health with its lens-embedded blue light protection. 

This product absorbs blue light without interfering with comfortable vision. The unique polymer formula-based lens material features built-in blue light protection, which effectively absorbs UV and HEV light. In addition to blocking just the right amount of blue light to keep eyes healthy, Shamir Blue Zero™ lenses maintain contrast sensitivity, ensuring high visual clarity and color perception.

This is a highly personalized and advanced single-vision lens for the digital lifestyle. Shamir Relax™ is available in 3 variants . It's precisely personalized to the visual requirements of the individual eyeglass wearer and features an extra bit of power in its lower surface area for added visual comfort in the 15- to 27-inch digital display viewing zones. 

Shamir Relax™ provides single-vision eyeglass wearers – including those not specifically requiring corrective lenses – with a bit of extra power in its lower area. The lens makes close and intermediate viewing tasks easier, and specifically helps overcome the vision and constant focusing challenges typical to continuous use of digital displays.
