Dr. Nish Patel

Dr. Nish Patel has been a member of the Peepers Family Eye Care Team since 2002. He graduated from the science and technology program at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, MD. He went on to attend Northwestern University where he earned a Degree in Physiology with Honors. Dr. Patel graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2011 where he served on the Executive Board of Vision Development.
Dr. Patel is a member of the Maryland Optometric Association.

Dr. Veera Patel was born and raised in sunny California. She attended the University of California, San Diego and graduated with a degree in Human Biology with a minor in History. During her college years, she spent some time volunteering abroad with a non-profit group “Unite for Sight” to help underserved populations in remote villages regain sight through cataract operations. These experiences solidified her passion for eye care. After graduating UCSD, she continued her eduction in Boston at the New England College of Optometry where she received her doctorate degree. It was here that she met Dr. Nish Patel! After she graduated from Optometry school in Boston, the two got married in Santa Barbara, California in 2014 and settled in Gambrills, Maryland – where they both continue to help their patients and community with their eyecare needs. In her free time, Dr. Veera Patel loves to watch movies, cook, and travel!

Dr. Felix Lee
Dr. Felix Lee is excited to return home to Maryland and join the Peepers family, helping his community with their eye cares needs after practicing in the New Jersey & New York tri-state area.
After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, he went on to earn an additional B.S. in Vision Science and his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry. Dr. Lee received honorable distinctions in clinical care throughout his externships in various primary and tertiary care settings that included the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Hospital in Gainesville, FL, Eye Centers of South Florida and The Eye Care Institute in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Dr. Lee provides all aspects of primary eye care, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting and the evaluation and management of chronic and acute ocular pathology. He strives to provide personalized and compassionate care to each patient with the latest research and treatment methods supported by evidence-based care.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Optometric Association. When not in the office, he enjoys playing golf, travelling, improving his culinary skills and supporting his alma mater, the Maryland Terrapins.
